Wild Waters Extension – 3 Days
This short excursion to the source of the River Nile can be added onto the end of most of our Uganda itineraries. Stay at the unique Lemala Wild Waters Lodge, situated on its own island, surrounded by rapids on the river Nile and blessed with an abundance of tropical vegetation, birdlife and red-tailed monkeys.
If you wish you could spend a full, exhilarating day white-water rafting, or take the time to relax and decompress after your safari holiday.
Days 1, 2 & 3: Jinja
From Entebbe, you can either take a private 3 hour transfer to Wild Waters Lodge in Jinja or you could fly directly to Jinja airfield from any airstrip in Uganda.
Once you’ve reached the river, lodge staff will bring you to the lodge on a canoe across the river – the only way to access the island.
At Wild Waters you can choose to relax and spend your days at leisure, watching the Nile crash past, or indulging in the massage / spa services.
Or you can enjoy everything the adventure capital of East Africa has to offer. You can chose to take a full-day rafting trip down the river complete with Grade 5 rapids, bungee jumping, quad bike, kayaking and horse riding excursions all take place a short distance away from the lodge.
You can also arrange fishing trips, sunset cruises or visits to the Source of the Nile from the lodge.

Day 4: Depart Uganda
Your guide will drive you back to Entebbe to connect with your international flight, or you can fly directly back to Entebbe International Airport.
